In England the average response time for life threatening emergencies (999) is 8 minutes. A lot can happen in that time and knowing what to do until help arrives can make a huge difference. First Aid training helps you prepare for this.
Mi-Time offers three types of First Aid courses:
- 3 day First Aid at Work (FAW)
- 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)
- 1 day bespoke First Aid
Currently all official accredited First Aid qualifications have the title ‘At Work’, so if you are after a First Aid qualification these are the courses for you. Of course you can apply these skills to whatever situation you will find yourself in. These course are also a good starting point as a basis to further First Aid qualifications for special situations (e.g. diving, inclement weather, rock climbing). The courses include CPR, wound dressing, the First Aid Manual and use of the defibrillator.
If you want to learn First Aid skills, but are not interested in an official qualification, Mi-Time can tailor a course to your specific needs. These courses typically last 1 day and are awarded by Mi-Time Wellbeing Ltd.
Bespoke courses can include:
- The use of the AED (defibrillator)
- A practical session (scenario play) for those with a valid First Aid certificate, wanting to keep their skills sharp.
